The 5 W’s Book Tag

With everything that’s been going on, I thought this would be the perfect time to do a simple book tag. This tag was originally posted by Thrice Read’s!

Who: Who is an author you’d love to have a one-on-one with?

This is a hard one for me because there are so many great authors I would love to sit down with but I would probably have to pick F. Scott Fitzgerald. I have such a weird obsession with him and there are so many questions I would love to get the answers to.

What: What genre/style do you most often gravitate to?

I usually gravitate towards historical fiction or mystery, bonus points if it is a historical fiction mystery.

Where: Where do you prefer to read?

The two places I get the most reading done are my spot on the couch and my bed. I love curling up with a blanket and being all snuggled up while enjoying a book.

When: What time of day do you prefer to read?

Although I usually end up doing most of my reading at night, I really enjoy reading in the morning to start the day.

Why: Why is your favorite book your favorite book?

I always find it hard to name a book my favorite book but I guess I would have to pick Burned by Ellen Hopkins. It’s the book that I can read over and over again without it getting stale and it usually never fails to get me out of a bad reading slump.

Bonus: How: How do you go about selecting what book you’ll read next?

Usually I have multiple books going at a time so some are picked by other people, some I pick because I finally want to cross it off the list and others are just impulse picks.

What are your answers to these five questions?

Until next time,

I'm just a small town girl taking a big step out into the void. I enjoy books, classic films, and a random assorment of music. By day I am a tech-savvy library assistant and by night I am a Shadowhunter. I'm a proud Ravenclaw. Hugh book nerd and loving talking books. So come hang out with me!
